We are doing Aduit of Pension Fund. Is AS 13 - Accounting for Investment applicable to the said fund ??. Point 2 of the said Standard syas that it does not deal with Investments of Retirement benefit plan.

AS-15 Accounting for Retirement Benefits is dealt with the pension fund, Not AS-13.

Ya we know that AS - 15 is applicable in our case. During the Year Pension Trust Received Contribution from it's Memeber and same amount is invested in Bonds and FDR. We want to know about Applicability of AS - 13 for Accounting of Investment transaction for Pension Fund Trust.
