Hi, I'd like to know if transfer is permitted freely by icai upto one year, then do principals have the right to execute a stamp paper to make student DECLARE by signing on STAMP PAPER that they will not transfer at all for any reason during three years?

As per my knowledge in 1st year of articleship other than
You just have to filled three copy of form 108 and submit one copy to institute, 2nd copy to existing firm, third copy for yourself.
Other than that nothing is required for transfer in 1st year of article ship.

But audit firm is asking for signed declaration on STAMP paper saying "I will not take transfer for full 3 years" Is it valid legally if I sign? If I sign can I then take transfer or not?
But i never heard as before related to this stamp paper.
Stamp paper is not bound against institute norm, rules and regulation.
