Articleship & franking

Please anyone solve this query

Yes, Please send form 102 & 103 with the date 28-5-2012 by paying late submission fee.   But there is one problem will arises you form 102 has been agreed on stamp paper and the agreement should be on or after the date of stamp paper. So if you purchased stamp paper now then the date of commencement from 28-5-2012 is invalid and void.   So try if any chances or possible to get the stamp paper with back dated if possible then send form 102 & 103 with late fee for submission and also enclose the your bank statement copy in evidence of staipend paying by the employer and receiving by your from such date.

It means if i get franking or buy stamp paper of back date i.e 28-05-2012 and submit late fees for late submission then it will work?

Institute says that i should get franking but stamp papers will work instead nah????

If franking is done then on which form it should be done 102 or 103??????

Franking of form 107 or purchase of stamp paper both seems same. If you purchased stamp paper then you have type or print the matter on form 107 into such stamp paper. But institute asked you franking on 107 so try to get the franking on form 107 with back dated. Then no problem will arises you. However you have to pay penalty for late submission.

but sir i have done franking on my form 107 before so will i have to make new set of 107 of same date n franking with 30 days? or what else i should do? n even my principle i out of station. does bank gived franking of back date????

I just read out the form 107 according to this deed. It saying form 107 also send along with form 108 with in 60 days for 107. In case of any break or registered with another emplyoer required to send for 102 & 103 also. And for 107 refering the terms and conditions of articleship as like original deed of articleship I.e form 102 & 103 agreed by you and your employer at the time of joining of articleship. So according to it not required form 102 & 103 franking or not send again in case of extantion period is also with the same employer.   So form 107 only required to franking. In your case you send the form 107 with the specified period but faild to franking. According to the articleship terms and conditions articleship should be consider from the date of franking or with in 30 days before such franking.  So due to the not franking on form 107 the institute considered it as in valid  and also seems there is break in your articleship continution so it asked you form 107 and 102 & 103 with franking.  So if you franked it latest date The institute may not consider your articleship from 28-5-2012.

                             So my suggestion is better to take stamp paper with back dated i.e before the date of form 107 actually send by you and type or print the matter regarding to form 107 on such stamp paper or refer form 107 on such stamp paper.  Or if possible to franking with back date then frank on form 107

and send such copy to the Institute by indicating we actually agreed or francked on the same day ie. 28-5-2012 or any other date of frank or stamp paper but we didn't send it ICAI but it is in safy custody with your employer and know with your request i sending this know.  As well as take franking or purchase stamp paper for form 102 also with back dated.   They institute may consider your request and accept your articleship.

                  It is only my suggestion and not sure regarding ICAI behaviour and suggestion is try to cover our mistak and get the benefit.

hello sir, i had joined my articleship on 01/02/2014 by direct entry schem and ia had a doubt regarding the franking and form 102. i have submit form 102 with my employer and how i have to submit and whether i have do franking? pls reply me.

Yes, you have to make franking on form 102 and you need not to submit form 102 to ICAI, it shall be keep with your employer, the date of agreement of form 102 shall be indicate on form 103.  So you required to send only form 103 to ICAI to get articleship registration.

    I am registered for articles on 01/06/2013 Then I sent form 103 But because of some postal issues its not reached to institute then i sent 2;nd application with 6 month delay means on 10/12/2013   . Now the Institute wants me to send work diary, stipend details, Attendence details and original articles deed. My problem is I prepared all the things except original deed of articles because when i joined the articles(01/06/2013) i did not make franking on form 102. Now i am really confusing, i don't no what to do. If i purchase Today's stamp paper in that shall i mention date of registration on 01/06/2013. or I Should purchase back dated stamp paper means on 01/06/2013 only is valid? and  whether the stamp paper date before 01/06/2013 also is valid? or  i have to purchase same dated one..? Plz clarify my boubt... M really confusing with this...

Purchase back dated stamp paper which is in between the dates of date of commencemt of articleship training and date of agreement of form 102 which is indicated in form 103.  If you purchased stamp paper with today's date then institue shall consider your articleship training earlier completed in invalid and doesn't count as your articleship training period.
