No when you take transfer it means you have joined the new firm from that date. How is it that you will take transfer in Oct and join from January.?

That means am i suppose to join new firm immediately aftrer applying for transfee

Yes if you do not want a drop in your articleship. If you take a drop of 2 months then that would not be counted in your articleship period. And accordingly your articleship will extend by that many months for the drop period

Ok thank you so much..
In 3 years of articleship period ,how many days leave can we get

It is 1/6 of actual period served. I.e 156 days to be precise of 3 years (365*3)

No of days served - Leave taken = Actual period served

Therefore Leave allowed = 1/6 (1095-x) where x actual period served or actual days worked
