I would like to know if mentioning of HSN/SAC codes in Tax invoices compulsory/mandatory for both B2B as well as B2C btransactons
And also is it compulsory to provide/report the above codes in GSTR1 for both B2B and B2C transa
ctions?

Above 5 crore , HSN is compulsory
Below 5 crore, mandatory for B2B only
Below 5 crore, mandatory for B2B only
For Business with Turnover less than 5 Crore
4 Digit HSN Code for B2B transaction is mandatory
For Business with Turnover more than 5 Crore
6 Digit HSN Code for B2B & B2C transaction is mandatory
Same is to be reported in GSTR-1 for B2B and B2C sales
