Yes, in case of Pvt. Ltd u can appoint Director in EGM directly anytime. n no need to appoint him additional director n further regularisation.

in case of public limited company, the answer is same. Yes the company can appoint non-rotational director in EGM (subject to the limit of number of non-roatinal directors, prescribed under the act).

Mr. Adarsh is very right. Under section 255 of the Companies Act, 1956 every company may appoint its rotational as well as non rotational directors in its General Meeting.
