Dear friends,
statutory auditor of Pvt. Ltd.co. has resigned on 1st Feb. 2011, who was re-appointed in the earlier AGM- 2010
and the company has appointed new auditor in Extra Ordinary General Meeting, on 2nd May, 2011
Is there any statutory time limit within which the new statutory auditor should be appointed?

The statutory auditor pertaining to a fin. year has to be appointed in that fin. year itself....I am not sure whether this is applicable in ur case where the auditor was appointed due to vacancy....
