Appointment as a nri as director in pvt ltd company

Hi

i would like to know the procedure for appointment of Nri as a director in private limited company.

is his presence in india necessary while appointment or documents can be signed and sent by courier?

kindly help me with the all the details(any special formalities for Nri appointment as director)

Get him PAN and DIN for him  supporting  documentn like ID  proof related.

Hi,

You can appoint the NRI as a director in a private limited company.  There is no need his presence in India at that time of appointment.

Just we have to get DSC & DIN for appointment as he is the director of the company & Prepare the Board resolution for the same.

The ID proofs and Address proofs has to be appostilled by the foreign notary for getting DSC & DIN
