Application of GST- for export of ITservices and capital markets

A stock market trader with TO of 10cr and having export IT services will be required to get registered under GST and can input be claimed for both brokerage charges and local taxable expenditure

Stock market trading is not a taxable supply and does not require GST registration on its own, nor does it allow for the claim of Input Tax Credit (ITC). However, if you are also exporting IT services, you are likely required to register for GST. While you can claim ITC on inputs related to your export business, you must exclude or reverse any ITC that pertains specifically to your exempt securities trading activity.
