I want to know that whether TDS has to be deducted on Annual Listing Fee Payable to Bombay Stock Exchange or not?

I dont think TDS is applicable .I am not able to cover it under any provision .I would like to wait for more replies to be cent percent sure. But I do have one notification to share with.

Sub: Notification of SEBI (Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Regulation, 2014
Attention of all the listed Companies is drawn to the Gazette Notification dated May 23,2014 pertaining to Securities and Exchange Board of India (Payment of Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2014. (Copy of SEBI Press Release appended).
It may please be noted that in case of the regulatory fees payable to the (Designated)Exchange on behalf of SEBI, in the case of listing of privately placed debt instruments and non convertible redeemable preference shares, there shall be no incidence of either Service Tax or TDS on the same.
Accordingly, all the listed Companies are requested to take note of the same and comply.
