Management and administration rule 2014 every company which has listed its eq shares on a RSE and every company having not less than 1000 members shall provide to its members faciliy to exercise their right to vote on resolutions proposed to be considered at a general meeting by electronic means"
Is this provision is applicable for all the companies?? Like unlisted public companies pvt co. Etc.??

This provision is applicable on listed companies and unlisted public companies having 1000 or more members.
This is not applicable on private companies as private company cannot have more than 200 members.

disagree a private company can have more than 1000 members (ex if a private company issue 1100 employees its shares , then for the purpose of sec 2(68) number is below 200 but actually number of members are more than 1000) then such private company shall also provide e voting facility
