Assessee has filed etds ( 24 q ) for f.Y. 2008-09 on due date. Assessee officer passed order u/s 201 (1).
1. can assesee now filled correction statement before filling the appeal

Yes u can file correction statement after acceptance by NSDL if your return becomes error free and their is no default remaains then file application u/s 154 to the Assessing officer he file correct the order.
But if u are not sure whether are defaults will be good or not. it will be safe to file the appeal beacuse if it is late the delay condonation may become a problem
