I just saw many students getting confused over the yesterday's BOS guidelines for students appearing in November 2010 final exams

many were confused over wat is meant by service completion certificate

so just to make it clear i wanted to share that

When a ca final student fills his articleship completion form with the institute

the institute serve him a Service completion certificate

so who so ever had already filled the completion form with the institute need to attach a copy of service completion certifiacte along with the exam form ( or fill the details if u are filling online form )

and who so ever have just finished or going to finish articleship upto 31st october need to fill the articleship completion form embedded in the CA FINAL EXAM FORM ITSELF !!

Thanks a very valuable one from you. I was waiting for such post since long.

mine has got over at 31-7-10.

will receive the sign on form 108 in 2-3 days then will file that with icai

also will fill ca final form in 2-3 days itself

so wat do i need to do in this case? and when will i receive certificate from institute if i file it in next week?

also wat do i need to write in exam form if i have not recd my completion certificate? can i attach copy of form 108 for supporting my exam form?

ICAI usually takes a month for serving u service completion ceritficate after u fill 108

my advise to u is

wait till 24 august

then fill the exam form if the said certificate do not reach u

fill the 2nd para in the articleship status while filling exam form

Hi!
I am PE -II Student started my articleship on 11th August 2010. that means by the end of October 2012 i am completeing my 2 years and 2 months of Articleship and as per ICAI Notification PE-II student can appear for CA Final exam during last 12 months of Articleship period that means i am eligible to appear for CA Final exam in Nov-2012?

If i am going to appear for the exam in Nov-2012, i need to submit Certifcate of Service from 11th August 2010 to 31 st October 2012 or from 11th August 2010 to the date of filling up exam form (i.e.6th August 2012)?

Actually i came to Abudhabi -Dubai for appearing for my CA Final exam can i attach scanned copy of my Cerificate of Service from my employer (as i am undergoing my Articleship in Mumbai )
