Is the income received every quarter from LIC as an annuity payment taxable in the hands of beneficiary ?
Assuming this originated from Superannuation contributions while in employment over many years.
On resignation part of it was commuted and taxed. and then annuity payments started.
annyity = pension
pension is always taxable as deemed salary
