Dear Friends,

I have joined CA course in 1997 after 7 years of graduation and my marriage.

I have blessed with male child by God in 2000. I have completed My Inter I group in Nov 2011 and II group in 2004. I was facing lot of financial problems and my friend arranged job in gulf. I came to job in 2005 and till date i am in gulf with my family.

Some time i gave exams ( In Chennai) and some time i don't. From 2008 onwards i was seriously giving my exams but...the ICAI is saying that i am not up to their standard and i failed continousely. In Nov 2011 attampt i got exemption in IDT and i gave exam in May 2012 too. I couldn't able to clear the exam.

My Marks are

Nov 211 May 2012

AMA-43 36

ISCA-42 36

DT-37 40

IDT-62 62E

I have not touched I group still.

My problem is time.

Now my age is 40 and still struggling with studies. In Gulf the job is not secured. Any time you may ask to go..

If i could compleate the course i will be peacefull in the next 20 or 25 years OR

I have to suffer for my rest of the life.

I request your advice for preparation.

Dude..Firstly Congratulations for IDT Exemption...Dont waste ur IDT exemption...Better u complete the course group by groupe...give 2nd group in Nov 12...Prepare those 3 subjects from Practice Mannual(PM) published by ICAI..They are purely exam oriented..Within period of 1 month u would be able to cover entire 3 subjects which will boost ur confidence & remember confidence is the key of success in CA Exam..belive me ,I used PM in last attempt for SFM,AUDIT,AMA,DT... Me Passed in first group & got the exemption in IDT...My Total is 402 but i got 33 in AMA so i have 2 write 3 papers from group 2 in Nov 12...Anyways I would be strongly recommend u to refer PM for next attempt...I am sure u will clear group 2 in next attempt & u will post ur result here...

Dont give up now Sir. All you need to do is forget about everything and treat your next attempt as the first one and give your sincere efforts.

If you are destined to be a CA, you will.

Hi Sultan,

I like your attitude twds contineous efforts and seriousness. Don't give up your hopes. You are middle of the CA journey which can be accomplished any time soon. Do strategic analysation and study with proper plan for the remaining 3 subjects which U scored good numbers in earlier attempts. Definitely U will through next time. Don't think about age and number of attempts in CA.
