so clear your concepts in these subject. 10 + 2 ncert books  for commerce helps a lot in this regard read it for reference it will benefit you.

law and other papers are not tough for arts students.

Yes... Shwetha is right... Also take help from some our your friends who have commerce background... Again, accounts & costing, study material is good & easily understandable. Hence, no need to refer 10+2 books... But tax may pose some problems to a BA student...So, you may concentrate more on Service Tax & VAT... Now Income tax is left... Buy yogendra bangar book... it expains concept in simple words.... Will be helpful to you...
