What's the journal entry to be posted for sample sales , how to treat the excise duty part in that sale.?

These entry depends on which accounting package are company use. if company maintain books of accounts on standard ERP like sap, maicrosoft navision . in these erp stock account maintain through general ledger account. therefore accounting entry are as, Cost of accounts DR. and Respect Inventory account CR. otherwise where stock account do not maintain through general ledger account there is no need to create entry.
