Ac payee cheque rejected by sbh

Recently i have dropped a A/C pay cheque which came from google India, at SBH. After 5 days it sent back to my home branch Saying Payee Name Mismatch. 

Payee name on cheque : Praveen Kumar reddy

My name in bank account : Praveen Kumar Reddy Guddeti

For this reason they sent that cheque back. I have dropped around 30 similar cheque's which came from google india -before. all those cheque are cleared but this only returned back.  Is There any Specific rule for Accnt Payee cheque should have Surname Compulsory?
