About tds

TDS will onlybe deducted if there is any wager work is provided, now it depends upon the client that in which manner he is providing such expenses so that first u have to locate the expenses that whether they are in nature of trading or any type of services ....!! TDS is applicable as it is work contract and Tax needs to be deducted under section 194C of the income tax act at specified rates....TDS would not be deducted if there is any involvement under the VAT...liketrading of the goods etc...

There does have any rule about if  VAT is applicable then TDS not be deducted ,eg,. if tructs are given on hire on such VAT is also charge & TDS has to be deducted.  All or any pert there of  such expenses are reimbersed by client to other party .

first of all i dont get the meaning of TRUCTS ??? what is it ??? n yeah if it is trucks then tell me one more thing if they are hired for what purpose ?? i mean are they hired for trasport basis then please let me know ??? and TDS will only be deducted only on Service basis ....please let me know the same ??? what ur question is ???
