I use prepare and submit online option for filing income tax return,
I have filled all the data and submit the form
after submit when i download sahaj itr-1 and read it, I found some error .
So tell what should to be do form correction of error while i still not sent the itr v form by post.
Is i just need to submitt return through prepare and submit online option with correct detail? or their is some other solution?
Log in and Download the XML file. Go through the XML and find the error in DATA you fed. You can file a revised Return. And send both the ITR V for both the Returns to CPC

i have filed return after due date , i read on some website if return filed after due date than we cannot revise the return . we can only send rectification request after reciveing intimation from IT department.Is this is correct?
I have done the error in summing up the income , so please tell,can i change the income while i file rectification or revising return?
