1. Its the dummy which is polluting the ca environment thats why ICAI has taken harder steps like "all questions compulsory"
2. rather than scolding students institute should take hard action on members engaged in giving dummy and cancel their CP 3. Also useless papers like MICS should be eliminated and a Centralised VIVA should be conducted to analyse student on practical terms whether he is having any practical experience or not. 4. This would provide a way to put a check on dummy students. 5. Also the papers should me more practical including topics like what queries are raised by a assessing officer under section 143(2), asking applicability of Form no. in income tax rules. This would reflect the practical attitude of Institute which will defeat the intentions of dummy students.

Thinking from a closed minded perspective wont help..... If you say that practical querstions should be asked, then what about those students whose ca's have placed them on audit all the time and they really dont know anything about tax.... Or the other way round...... ??? ...... Dummy is not the problem..... The problem is articleship......... How is this ???? Make students give final exams and then they decide whether they want to go for 2 years articleship ro work in industry for similar period ??? Simple as that.... ICWA, CS, CFA, all have the same concept....... ICAI is the one that pampers its members alot....

I agree with u but tell me how many go 4 practice after completing ca. what u learn in article wont be useful if u go 4 an advisory of finanincial services jobs.Thats why instead of all this institute break the article period into differnet phase and make industrial training in various sector too compulsory as working under ca is compulsory.
one more thing institute should introduce is interview round before giving membership same as done in IAS selection, by this they can have a clear check on dummy.
