In Kolkata, a candle march has been organised at 12 AM on 01-01-2013 in protest of the Delhi gang-rape and other such incidents which are happening each day in our country.

Request to each and every one please mention in comments events and candle marches at ur places...

In my office we the articles decided to do candle march but our branch chairman said we can't do since we can't go against the administration

Even i am against the new year celebrations... How can we even think of partying rather we all should be ashamed that such inhuman thing happened in our society. Its time to think are we really civilised? Is this the India our freedom fighters dreamt of? Is this the India for which our forefathers sacrificed their life? Its a matter of great shame for us. We dont deserve any right to celebrate Republic Day. This horrifying incident was simply an insult to our Constitution. Indian politicians have simply polluted our nation. Have never been so ashamed to call myself an Indian.

Shame on the Government....
