80TTA deduction can be claimed upto 10000 rupees interest

It is excluding of 80C limit. Maximum limit is 10,000/- u/s 80TTA however, you have to show interest income under the head income from other source.

Deductible u/s 80TTA up to Rs. 10,000, not under section 80C of Income tax act,1961
