Quick Summary
Good news for taxpayers! The deadline for making investments eligible under Section 80C for the financial year 2019-20 has been extended. You can now make these investments until June 30, 2020. This extension was made possible by The Taxation and Other Laws (Relaxation of Certain Provisions) Ordinance, 2020.

The government has extended the date for making investments eligible u/s 80C for PY 2019-20 upto 30-06-2020 vide The Taxation and Other Laws (Relaxation of Certain Provisions) Ordinance, 2020.
