I have one house and have only rented property income. I am not staying in that house.
I am paying emi for the loan taken for construction of that house.
My question is whether i can claim benefit of 80 c while payment of emi as its principal part. Please remember my house was given on rent as it was constructed

Yes you can very well claim 80 c deduction in case of rented property also. And interest amt payable can be claimed under income from house property u/s 24(b)

Agreed with all above. Deduction u/s 80C and interest u/s 24b can be claimed in respect of such property.

yes u can calim deduction u/s 80c for the instament payment though it was let out. moreover u can also claim deduction u/s 24 for the interest component
