6 month articleship leave

Dear Members,

My articleship period is from Sep 2012- Aug 2015 (3 years) and I have taken 34 days leave during my articleship period(excluding exam days and intervening exam days) and i have not taken any leave during exam days also maybe 2 or 3 days before exams i used to take leave, now as i have pending leave 143 days i.e 5 months(approx.) [395*3=1095(Period to be served)- 34(leave taken)=1061(Period Actually Served)/6=177(Eligible leave) therefore 177-34=143]. I want to take those 5 months leave to prepare for my exam before my articleship gets over, as it is my right to take leave.

My query is can i take 5 months leave in lumpsum or is there any limit for maximum period of leave to be taken

kindly reply to my above query, waiting from early reply from the experts.

Hey

As long as your employer gives permission you are free to take as much leave as you want inside the maximum leaves allowed by the institute.

So if you want to consume all your leaves together u can do that.
