2 vat for same firm and same address

Happened in Chennai under Tamilnadu VAT.

no one assesse canno hae more than one vat no..

however if they are any other premise from where business is conductd you can share that details as branch details.

My question is. whether 2 Assesses can have  2 TINs for same firm name and same address.

For example. In One company  husband and wife will have separate TINs. Do business from same address as same firm name.
