@ shefali: though the question wasnt for me... but being a CFA student i would like to help u... ya u could get it in delhi... not the original(as they are much costlier) but the duplicate edition.. u can contact on 9911107020 for the books... if u want them in soft copy u can mail me on aagrawal116 @ gmail.com

Hi Espionage

I will be sitting for CFA in June 2013 (L1). I am from Kolkata. I need  some answers to a few questions as i am very much confused.

1) Will the CFA institute ship the study materials to me in my home or will i have to collect it from somewhere?

2)I am doing articleship...will i have to submit form 112 in ICAI to do CFA???

3)Also is the schweser notes available in india (prferably in kolkata?)? If so can u please tell me where? Cause if i order from their site they charge a bomb.

4) And lastly if self study is done from schweser notes and cfa institute study mat can we clear L1???

1. no ur not eligible for cfa level 1 unless u clear bcom 2nd year.. and if u pass level1 then u have to first clear bcom final year to register for level 2. :)

2. first clear bcom then think abt the rest dude. :)

I am a final sutdent and i will be appearing for CA Finals in nov,13.

I am also planning to register for cfa level 1 soon.

My query is: is it madatory to take a permission  from ICAI for pursuing cfa??

whats the procedure?

Hi espionage,

If we register for Level 1 exam in June 2013 by paying Program Enrollment & Exam Registration fees and if we coudnt clear the exam so what would be the fees we need to pay to take up the exam in Dec 2013 , Is there any exemption in the fees if we take up the exam again in Dec 2013 ??

i want to know the prospects of a charter holder in us uk and other parts of world. Also want to share that am a bit excited about trading and stuff like that. exclusively doing a job is not my type. i want to be a proprietor, either a consultant or something like that. currently am doing ca, stuck in the last level, of 4 papers and want to move on in life. Suggest. and pm me some of ur details , as what are u doing currently so that communication can proceed and i will be more comfertable in relying on u.
