Dear Sir, I am working full time in a telecom multinational KPO. Seriously thinking of upgrading mine qualification. So thinking of pursuing ICWA. Please help on the below queries. • I am an M Com (correspondence). Will it (ICWA) be worth doing? • Can I appear in ICWA inter in Dec-2015 both groups. • If yes to above query in point 2 above then as an expert what will be your view how much hours do I need to devote to all 8 subjects. • Any other expert thought regarding preparation would be sincerely appreciated. Sir, At which amount service tax is payable by cable operator ? (For Eg. A cable operator is receiving service from fastway cable @Rs.150 and then providing it to customers @Rs.260. So on which amount cable operator would collect and pay service tax to CBEC.) Does they get any abatement or exemption?

we are software unit. was registered with stpi till 31-3-2011 and with sez upto 31-3-2012. We had small amounts of invoices. From 1-10-2013 softex filing was made compulsory for all invoices. We have lapsed few receipts because we were not registered as non stpi unit. Now how to rectify this? Bank is asking on behalf of RBI about details of the transactions. Please help. Thanks. Is the date of invoice prior to Oct 31 help?

Sir, I receive certain spares from head office against Form 'F' and replace them during servicing within the Warranty period. Neither value of the spares nor labour charges is recovered from customers. Should I pay VAT to the local VAT authority. Kindly suggest me at the earliest. I am however paying VAT on spares used in servicing after Warranty period.

Greetings for the Day, My question is, Govt. has provided a revenue subsidy to a backward area and as per the subsidy the assessee's 20 profit is exempt from tax and rest 80% is taxable. Now in the initial four years of the project the assessee has suffered a loss and my concern is whether he can carry forward loss his whole 100% loss or he can only carry forward upto 80% of such loss.
