FAQ :

This notification further extends the anti-dumping duty on imports of Float Glass of thickness 2 mm to 12 mm (both thickness inclusive) of clear as well as tinted variety (other than green glass), but not including reflective glass or processed glass meant for decorative, industrial or automotive purposes.

The Float Glass subject to this anti-dumping duty originates from or is exported from the People's Republic of China.

The original anti-dumping duty was imposed vide notification No. 47/2015-Customs (ADD), dated the 8th September, 2015.

The anti-dumping duty was previously extended up to and inclusive of the 7th December, 2020.

The anti-dumping duty has been further extended until the 6th February, 2021.

The Central Government considers it necessary to further extend the anti-dumping duty as it has not come to a conclusion in the ongoing review.
