SEBI releases Handbook of Statistics 2025-26

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has released today the 21stedition of the Handbook of Statistics (HBS) for the year 2025-26. 

HBS is a single stop access to the historical time-series data ofIndian securities market, in an easily downloadable format.The HBS is prepared and published every year by the  Department of  Economic and Policy Analysis  (DEPA)  of  SEBI,  using data   sourced   from   various stakeholders.The Handbook  and several other publications are  available on the official  website  of  SEBI,  under Report  and Statistics.

The HBS 2025-26,  consists  of  85  annual  series  tables  and  68  quarterly/monthly series tables, totalling to153 tables. It offers a compilation of time-series data on thegrowth  of Indian securities market, encompassing  primarymarket,  secondary market, derivative segmentsin various instruments and the investments by various investment vehicles in Indian securities market. It also includes data on some of the regulatory activities by SEBI/ MIIs and few reference indicators on global stock markets.
