The Special Window for Affordable & Mid Income Housing (SWAMIH) Fund has been established to offer relief to homeowners affected by stalled housing projects. As a part of #AatmaNirbharBharat Abhiyaan additional borrowing limit of up to 2% of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) was allowed to the States for the year 2020-21, equivalent to Rs. 4,27,302 crore.

Special assistance has been provided to State Govts in form of 50-year interest free loan up to an overall sum not exceeding Rs. 12,000 cr. Rs 9880 cr already approved to 27 States

All 28 States & 3 UTs with Legislative Assembly(who are members of GST Council have decided to go for Option-1 to meet the revenue shortfall arising out of GST implementation.

Grant-in-aid of Rs 1.99 lakh cr allocated to States for 2020-21.This includes Rs 74,341cr to 13 States to meet revenue deficit, Rs 90,000cr for improving civic services & Rs 34,545cr for disaster management.Out of this Rs 1.25 lakh cr already released to States.
