The DGFT Trade Facilitation App is a mobile application launched to provide exporters and importers with quick and easy access to trade-related information and services, anytime and anywhere.
Key features include real-time trade policy updates, notifications, application status alerts, tracking help requests, exploring export-import policies, tracking IEC portfolios, 24x7 AI-based assistance for trade queries, and access to a personal trade dashboard.
The app was launched by Shri Piyush Goyal, the Commerce & Industry Minister.
The main goal is to promote ease of doing business, provide quick access to information for importers and exporters, reduce transaction costs and time, and usher in transparency.
The app will be available on both Android and iOS platforms, and can also be downloaded from the DGFT Website.
The app has been developed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) under the direction of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
