Since its formation on July 1st, 1949, the ICAI has become the second-largest accounting body in the world, with numerous regional councils, branches, and overseas chapters.
The ICAI contributes to the nation's growth and enjoys public trust, acting as a partner in nation-building through various initiatives and professional guidance.
Recent initiatives include revising the education and training scheme, issuing a Technical Guide on Financial Statements of Non-Corporate Entities, celebrating International Day of Yoga, preparing for the World Congress of Accountants, expanding its network with new branches, and celebrating International MSME Day.
The Honourable Speaker of Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla, was invited to be the Chief Guest for the CA Day programme.
