The ICAI hosted the first-ever carbon-neutral 21st edition of the World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) in Mumbai, which was attended by approximately 10,000 professionals from over 120 countries.

The ICAI has developed the 'Sustainability Reporting Maturity Model (SRMM) Version 2.0' based on SEBI's BRSR scoring mechanism and rolled out the first audit standard on sustainability information, SSAE 3000.

The ICAI has renewed MoUs with institutions in Oman and Nepal, signed new MoUs with bodies in Poland, Azerbaijan, and Nigeria, and inaugurated six Representative Offices in the United States, expanding its footprint to 47 countries.

The ICAI was inducted into the India Book of Records for its MSME SETU and MSME Yatra initiatives and signed MoUs with various government bodies and institutions to foster an enabling ecosystem for entrepreneurship, MSMEs, and startups.

A New Scheme for Education and Training has been approved, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020, industry expectations, global best practices, and technological advancements. The syllabi have been finalised and await final ministry approval.

The ICAI entered the Asia Book of Records for the 'Maximum Number of Students Participation in Super Mega Career Counselling Programme', with over 1,60,000 students participating across multiple drives.
