FAQ :
The ICAI is announcing the empanelment of Chartered Accountant firms/LLPs with the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) of India for the year 2021-2022.
The empanelment is for the purpose of appointing auditors for companies as per Sections 139 (5) and 139(7) of the Companies Act 2013, and for statutory corporations/autonomous bodies.
Online applications will be available on www.cag.gov.in from 1 January 2021 to 15 February 2021.
Applicant firms/LLPs must fill or update data showing the status of their firm as on 1 January 2021.
Firms must generate an online acknowledgement letter. A printout of this acknowledgement and hard copies of supporting documents must be submitted to the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India by 26 February 2021.
