The Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT), under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, has officially released a notice dated 20 March 2026 announcing the shortlisted candidates for engagement as Legal Researchers (Contractual) at its Principal Bench in New Delhi.
Selected Candidates List
Based on merit and recommendations approved by the Hon'ble President, the following candidates have been shortlisted:
- Garima Jindal
- Aparna Trivedi
- Hiteshi Parasher
- Mohit Kalra
- Divi Khurana
- Tanya Saraswat
- Devansh Aeron
- Arushi Anand
These candidates will be engaged subject to verification of original documents.
Waiting List Candidates
Additionally, GSTAT has released a waiting list of three candidates:
- Harshit Rohilla
- Himani Kaushik
- Sanidhya Sharma
The waiting list will remain valid until 31 December 2026.
Important Deadline for Acceptance
Shortlisted candidates are required to submit their acceptance letters by 24 March 2026 to the Principal Bench. Failure to respond within the stipulated time will be treated as declining the offer.
Next Steps in the Appointment Process
The notice further clarifies that formal appointment procedures for selected candidates will be communicated in due course after completion of necessary formalities.
