Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has concluded a series of pre-Budget consultation meetings for the upcoming Union Budget 2022-23. Held virtually between December 15th and 22nd, 2021, these meetings involved over 120 participants from seven diverse stakeholder groups, including agriculture, industry, finance, and labour. The discussions focused on various suggestions, such as increased R&D spending and infrastructure for digital services, which will be considered for the final budget.
