TIWB is a joint initiative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) designed to help developing countries strengthen their tax administration.
India has been chosen as the Partner Jurisdiction and is providing the Tax Expert for the programme in Bhutan.
The programme is expected to last for approximately 24 months.
The programme will focus on International Taxation and Transfer Pricing.
The main goal is to aid Bhutan in strengthening its tax administration by transferring technical know-how and skills to its tax auditors and sharing best audit practices.
