A team of the Income tax department, Kanpur division, unravelled a nexus where transactions worth several crores were being done from the accounts of junk pickers and rickshaw pullers for GST or income tax evasion.

CBIC chairman: 50,000 cases to be taken up for GST audit in FY24

Guidelines released by CBIC for GST Registration Application Processing

2-Factor Authentication mandatory for taxpayers with AATO above Rs.100 crore from 15th July 2023
