Preparing proposals;
Applying DTAA provisions and replying to queries relating to taxation of different types of income arising to residents of different countries;
Planning and reviewing data entry done by juniors into the software (Record keeping of transactions entered into by FIIs/QFIs/Private Family Trusts;
Preparing &/or Reviewing income statements, advance tax estimates, remittance certificates;
Preparing &/or Reviewing Return of Income of FIIs/QFIs/NRIs and filing the same;
Monitoring billing and recovery;
Research in the BFSI sector and keeping in touch with changes in the various laws affecting FIIs.
Liaising with custodians and Offshore Management companies for information
Responding to queries from custodians, banks & NRIs relating to Income-tax, DTAA, FEMA & SEBI regulations.Knowledge of functioning of stock markets and terminology used in stock markets.
Experience of computing capital gains, dividend income, dividend stripping, and application of DTAA.
Worked in a Big 4 in the BFSI or FS division for at least 1 year.
Experience of working in a process driven environment would be an added advantage.Experience of dealing with custodians,Depository Participants, Banks,Brokers would be an added advantage.
