Wrongly Paid IGST against SGST

when i am filling gstr 3b the sgst and cgst tax due but wrongly paid in IGST column. there is no inter state business in our business. how can we use the paid IGST cash bal. or transfer IGST to sgst or cgst.

you have to the remaining cgst or sgst and claim the igst next month..

it is shown in your cash ledger igst amount and to be refunded...or to be utilized in upcoming month..but the remaining cgst or sgst is to be paid in current month..

you cannot transfer but you can set off in next payment of tax

You cannot claim refund or transfer to CGST or SGST account. But you can make the payment of CGST and SGST directly from IGST and set off.

Hi Shahzad
Input can be cross utilized in the following manner.
IGST credit can be utilized first for IGST payable , if there is any balance then you can use for CGST , then SGST.
And CGST input can be used for first CGST then IGST.
SGST input can be used first for SGST then for IGST.
So you can use wrongly paid IGST tax for CGST & SGST .

problem is that IGST is not credit balance it is cash balance of IGST. it is not adjusting in current (3b sept month) .

Mr.Shahzad You are right . Its cash balance of IGST which not able to setoff CGST and SGST.

I am also looking for this solution.

Govt. should allow transfer of cash balance among IGST, CGST & SGST. Since it's taxpayers cash payment tax should have the right to use it against any of the outstanding tax amount.

Instead of transfer let there be only ONE cash Ledger. Any amount paid to go to this ledger and it can be used for CGST SGST or IGST or penalty interest or Late fees

this mistake also my client we are mail to hlepdesk.gst.gov.in but till date not reply to us tall free number gst talk wait some time but not proper satisfation reply to me only wait after goverment refund this amount some personal reply
