By mistake We have wrongly opted for quarterly filing of GSTR 1 how to rectify it, then

I don't think there will be penalty, but for rectification you'll have to wait for a year I think...
Quarterly return means you could have applied for Composition scheme. You can cancel that in the same financial year by Applying for cancellation for that,

Once opted then no way for changes in the FY. You ll wait and change in next FY...
No more clarification about choose the filing option. As per my view no more restriction for the filling option if we are opt wrongly...
But, We must rectify in next FY...

we sure that there is no penalty on these type of comman mistakes like quaterly/monthly option, gstr 1 documents ,HSN this financial year (17-18)
