Wrong selection of assessment year while generating Self Assessment Tax Challan
I have generated self assessment tax challan in the month of March 2019 to file ITR for AY 2019-20, but while selecting assessment year the person has wrongly selected assessment year as AY2018-19 instead of selecting 2019-20. Due to this, the tax amount is not getting displayed in 2019-20 26AS,instead it is showing in 2018-19 26AS for which year the tax has been already paid. Please provide necessary solution related to this.

You will have to write to the Assessing Officer regarding wrong assessment year in the specified format by post or by visiting him personally and getting an acknowledgement slip.
