Wrong clause number but correct answer for Tax Audit in Audit paper

As per my knowledge no. they won't give any marks for wrong coating. They deduct some mark for non coating.

so even if the answer is correct in other aspects, I won't get a single mark?

No. As I know no marks will be given for coating wrong section

if all correct & clause or section wrong you may get 1-2 marks
provided your 40a(3) correct

normally they strike off you answer. but liberal valuation u may get some marka

I have mentioned the section correctly but old limit of 20k , will I get any marks ??

very less chances of getting any marks as limit mentioned 20k. if the tax provisions are correctly written usually marks are given after deductiom for wrong section/clause

Atleast for me it was tuff , last time I scored 55 is baar 40 v AA jaye kafi h but other r saying it was easy

marks will be provided for 20000 only ... as 10000 limit is not applicable to this attempt

u can check the provision in RTP too ...

No limits I have mentioned correctly. Does ICAI give half marks or something ? like 0.5? in theory subjects?

shivam kumar, the intention of q is to check whether u knw the amended part then u will not get marks. otherwise valuer can give mark if u wrote the section correctly
