I don't think ICAI can/should deduct marks if anybody has given the updated provision. :/ ..
And to reiterate a question asked above, does the institute give 0.5 marks in Theory paper questions ?

all i know is icai jus c the updated provisions in its book ... since the books contain 20000 limit ... it means its not updated so as per me they wil consider 20000 only

No, It don't think they give any half marks in exam and as pavan rightly said in Rtp icai has repeated the limit of 20k for cash payment in fiscal law amendment , now let's see whether give any marks or not

They won't give a single mark.. same thing happened to be me in the previous attempt. I was shocked with their valuation style...!!
it's just 4 marks .. don't take it too seriously! All the best for Law!!

If u check quest. 6(b) in mock test paper 2 -it is Rs. 10,000/-
