Wrong a/c no Entered in ITR

Hi

One of my client has received Assesment order of refund Rs 9602/- and after that i checked it on status of refund on website it has shown "  unable to credit due to wrong account no"

My query is that what i do in such cases where should i contact or there is any way to put right account no.

Hi,

Write a letter to the Concerned ITO Officer and CPC Bangalore. Give all details of Bank A/c No. (I.e. Address,Micr,Name etc.,)

Along with letter enclose Cancelled Cheque with signature.

contact the A.O. and cpc with recent bank statement of the account and a cancelled check of the same.. if you have received cheque with wrong account then send same with above proofs to the SBI branch issuing the RO
