Worst correction in my ipcc certified copies

hello,

i am ipcc grp2 student who have written my ipcc may 2014 attempt and was failed by 7 marks.so i applied for certified copies as i have full confidence that i would have passed,,

n the certified copies came and NO CHANGE in the result but was shocked by the way institute have evaluated my paper :(

the correction was pathetic n in IT they have literally awarded 0 for almost all the Q other than 1 or 2 Q ,even without seeing what i have written i guess :(

Here are my final conclusions on the evaluation of my answer sheet

1)INST evaluates the answer only if it is in suggested answers and for any other answer not even single mark has awarded.

2)how much u have written institue will give max of 50% unless if it matches 100% with the suggested answer

3)expecting pass is a nightmare.

i am not a ROBOT or someother who exactly copies what are their in institue suggested answers,and i never do mugup as i want knowledge but by the act of my paper valn i had understood institute only want mugup n not knowledge.

even institute is not entertating the synonmyms or same meaning sentences ....this shows the pathetic correction of my paper

and who literally reads only institute book before exam...every author have their own way of presentaiton ,but the valuer have given marks only on institute suggested answer

my main agony was valuer did correction on line to line basis of institute suggested answer and not the concept what i have learnt and presented

then why inst is keeping for ipcc we need CONCEPTUAL knowledge?rather it can say i need mugup knowledge :(

i am aggreived ,,,,do i get any benefit now?

i even cant concentrate on my further exams :(

n this is not the first time and i am not first attemptee ,its almost 8 attempts guys since i started writing ipcc

is it not painful....cant we change the institute?

or i have anychance to recorrect it? n get benefitted ?

Dear Kiran,

Don't get disheartened. Try and understand what exactly the evaluaters look for and work on those lines. I'm sure you will get success. There is no use cribbing about the Institute's methods. We don't have any power over them. All you can do is, do what they demand. Present the answers in the way they desire.

Its not at all fair. how can we write word to word answers ? especially students who are weak at theory subjects. even my problem is the same..even i have got zeros in my info tech paper..why do people say that do not leave any question..attempt full 100 marks is been told..what is the use of writing if we are not able to get a single mark..The checking is really very strict..Even i feel very demotivated.

It happens.... I got 48 out of the first 64 marks in law .... AND THEY ***AWARDED** me 3 out of the next 36 marks when I'm it even matches the suggested answers... The worst part... My case is of ca final... And I have to repeat all eight subjects because of that fraudulent correction ... Else I could have been a CA by now.... It's at least better for you that you now know what their capable of doing... For me this first time failure was a shock :p ! Plus u have only 3 subjects to worry about.

Not all but a Few attempts in theory papers of my ipcc exam.I have seen this trend and in finals too.This is why masses fail in CA final isca .Its really pathetic that if ICAI is Expecting us to mug up answers.It really questions me whats the whole point in being CA?

exactly.....

mug up is an unusual thing for me and i am not a kind of muguper n i cant remeber what i mug up too ...i just learn n present in my own way .....but institute is forcing me to mug ....

i am even regretting now after 5 yrs of journey to CA ........that why i came to CA :(

if i used my intelligence in any of govt jobs or software industry i could have earned lakhs and more than this CA :(

i even went for CA final coaching as i am 100% confident on the pass of the attempt......still i failed with narrow 7 mark gap ....but getting those 7 marks is not by my mistake :(

@ Kiran we cant even imagine what you must be going through

But now atleast you know what you need to do Jst go for Ratta Maar attitude in ISCA atleast not explanations but headings atleast. You know there is no other way around so, give it to them in their way this time & hope for the best.

Same with me I m also attempting 8 th time but it harsh every time,I me not a mugger Yar....I have done finals coaching 2 times n still struggling with ipcc

for clearing ipcc group 2 you have to score exemption in accounts or audit to compensate for itsm. otherwise it is very difficult to clear 2nd group. so score good in practical

Institute definitely needs to improve upon a lot of matters ... It sometimes feel like correction of our copies are not done by quafied people .... I was shocked At my ipcc result .. It seemed pointless since i scored exemption in accounts but was fail in most subjects ... Practical subjs i passed bt theory not i single subject ... My problem is same .. I m not a rattamar kind of person ... Alot disheartened but i will try my best

But institute does not evaluate the knowledge level of evaluater they never reward marks until it matches 100% of the suggested answer, that's the reason people qualifying ca have no practical knowledge now a days they just complete 3 yrs articles mug up the answers and get through exam

This is what happens when students ignore Institute study material.FOR ITSM you need to refer study material strictly.NO OTHER BOOKS and it's all about PRESENTATION in theory subjects

> Define the technical term at start of every answer whether it's 1,2 ,4 or 8 marks question

For eg what are the features of Business process automation ? Now you don't start writing

features directly , first define Business process automation and explain features...

> Underline the technical terms in exam with pencil (very very imp)

> There is nothing like you have to write word to word !! Examiner wants technical points in explanation of subpoints.You can make your own sentences provided that you wrote technical terms in it.

Follow this imo you can easily score 60+ in ITSM

Don't waste time in blaming ICAI,instead do your preparation well
