Dear Friend,
I am breaking the trend. Industry does consider articleship period as an experience. Industry treats you as a fresher. The salary offered to you may be low. I had been to company for Asst. Finance Mamager post in my home town, Bangalore. It is subsidary of a Building Society in England. The finance maager and HR manager liked me a lot. I was selected for the post. They told me my knowledge is good. But MD offered me a salary of only 15k, CTC to the company. He told my articleship experience is not counted as experience. I am just like a college fresher. He also told my designation will be only accountant. It is easy to find a job in CA firm. However you know the problem, the pay is bad. Even the Big 4 in Bangalore offer around 15k for CA inter candidate.
Please note I am not discouraging you. Just sharing my experience. Please try to finish CA or atleast PCC. It is better to have accounting technician certificate against your name.
Difference between qualification and experience is same as difference between passport and visa. If you do not have passport you will never get a visa.
ALL THE BEST. GOD BLESS U

What matters is what you did in those 3 n 1/2 years. Your pay depends on your knowledge not just degrees Best of Luck

It is not to decourage any one. I want to share my experience. I have passed 1st group of CA final and 3 years of articleship. I have given so many interviews in many private companies. The highest pay i have been offered was 8000/- pm. I have also given many interviews in CA Firms and the highest pay i was offered was 10,000/-pm.

It is not to decourage any one. I want to share my experience. I have appeared for the second group of CA Final in May 2010. I have passed 1st group of CA final and 3 years of articleship. I have given so many interviews in many private companies. The highest pay i have been offered was 8000/- pm. I have also given many interviews in CA Firms and the highest pay i was offered was 10,000/-pm. So it is heard to pass out the CA exams and even harder to get the right pay as per our qualification...................

As per my friends experience, the maximum pay offered is 15k only.. so try for additional courses or try completing CA.

what do u mean my "do i get a job after articleship, without clearing PCC and clearing Bcom?" I understood your question in this angle "IS ARTICLESHIP OF ANY USE WHEN YOU ARE GOING FOR JOB WITH BCOM".
Most of the big companies do not take articleship as experience, however you will be treated as a better candidate when compared to a person without articleship.
You have excellent oppurtunites when you finish of PCC or CA INTER (the term generally used in companies).
I myself cleared PCC in Feb 10 and I am already getting offers from some companies of Rs.20 to 30K...
You have to face the interview confidently to get this. I read earlier post regarding 8 to 10 K salary for CA Final group 1 cleared.
I would suggest to try in Bangalore there are lot of oppurtunites.
