Why sensex n nifty two index
experts pls tell me there are two index in indian share market .and also specify me that is there any stock exchanget other than bse and nse, can we trade with those

Sens*x and Nifty are stock indexes of BSE and NSE resp. Since BSE's origin comes from the stock brokers from pre-corporatization period, the guvmt decided to have a national stock exchange with computer facility. hence we have 2 highly prevalent stock exchanges
